SOLUTION
Lantmännen Maskin introduced a new administrative system that is common for all units.
This system has been integrated with ProSales. Lantmännen will henceforth use ProSales, which
is the Proconsa system for handling quotations and product configuration and ProUsed for valuation
of used objects and stock keeping of new and used objects. To maintain the system they will
be using ProBuilder. The systems and the data will be stored on one server and will be maintained
there. No maintenance will take place on local machines. This is a very safe and solid way to
manage the operation of the system.
In ProSales and ProUsed all users have access to the same
information in real time. This guarantees that all sales people have access to updated information
about prices, products and stock situation all the time. A salesperson may quickly configure products
together with the customer and get all the valid costs on the quotation. It is possible to start
the configuration process with a needs analysis, where you go through the customers’ prerequisites
and thereby facilitate the choice of products. The customer history will be available and the
sales person has the possibility to show good knowledge about the customers’ operations
and needs. Completed quotations may be presented quickly, with information about trade-in valuations
and financing. During the configuration process the sales person may keep track of how discounts
and costs effects the margins.
With ProUsed the sales person easily makes a valuation of trade-in
objects. Stock information is available in the system and the sales person may easily inform himself
of new and used objects in stock and the prices of the same. When a deal is closed with a customer
the sales person changes status on the quotation to order and it is automatically sent to the
order system.
