The
need in Volvo Truck Corporation was to supply the sales personnel
with well-arranged and collected sales material along with configuration
support in order to meet their customers' demands for tailor-made
products. In addition to this they wanted to avoid the situation
where the sales person creates more or less the same material when
delivering the quotations.
The order office on each market was in need of correct and consistent
orders to avoid misunderstandings between them and the sales personnel.
The marketing and sales managers needed an efficient reports tool
that would enable a follow up on sales activities and order stock.
In order to solve these problems, the consultants at Proconsa have
worked close together with Volvo for some years. From this co-operation,
