Mr. Johansson was working for Volvo Trucks
AB, prior to starting this business. He thought the paper based sales
process of configuring, offering and ordering trucks was error prone
and extremely time consuming. He also had a passion for computers
and decided to take some time off to develop a system that would assist
in the sales process. The value of the solution was quickly evident
and it was embraced within Volvo as a foundation to greatly improve
the sales organizations job. Mr. Johansson was asked to further develop
the solution for Volvo and thus the foundation of Proconsa was established.
Since then, Proconsa has focused on developing solutions for the manufacturing
industry and especially the heavy machinery and vehicle segments.
Proconsa has developed a deep understanding for the manufacturing
industry and its problems, which has made the company very successful
in implementing and developing configurator systems. Only with an
established knowledgebase and hands on experience for the clients
challenges, products and processes, can such advanced tools as Interactive
Sales Systems and configurators be successfully implemented. |
